Easily and conveniently collect data points via S7 Ethernet or Modbus TCP with the S7-IIoT protocol converter. No modifications to existing S7 CPUs are required! As a standalone device, this highly communicative protocol converter does not impact PLC cycle times. Selected data points are made available to higher-level systems via the OPC UA server and MQTT client (publisher/subscriber), along with typical functions such as logging. All this is achieved without any PC software, as it is integrated into a web configurator – exactly as required by RAMI 4.0. Furthermore, the integrated Node-RED enables hundreds of thousands of additional functions such as SMTP, FTP, tweeting, visualization, text-to-speech, and more.
